Cinco De Mayo
Why do we celebrate Cinco De Mayo? Mostly because it's fun. We celebrate St. Patricks Day without being Irish, so why not celebrate Cinco De Mayo without being Mexican?

First, Cinco De Mayo is not "Mexican Independence Day" - That's September 16th. It's not the "Dia de los Muertos" - That's October 31 - November 2nd. Yeah, that's right a one day celebration that takes three days. Awesome.

Cinco De Mayo is the day they celebrate Mexico's unlikely victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. So, with that in mind - break out the Margaritas and Queso!

No Seriously, it's an excuse day to have a party. But doing it right with the right foods, music and friends is what makes it standout.

Here are some recipes, ideas and tips to make this year's Cinco De Mayo far more memorable than the reason we celebrate Cinco De Mayo in the first place.
